SHINE

Isaiah 40:26 "Look up and see! Who created these? He brings out the stars by number; He calls all of them by name. Because of His great power and strength, not one of them is missing."

What Are We About?

Shine is about knowing that each person is made with a purpose. Our heart is that each individual would know God, experience the love of Jesus, and build community. We offer personalized care through 1:1 buddies or specialized classes for individuals with special needs so that they are fully supported and cared for within our ministry. We hope to create a supportive environment where individuals of all abilities can grow in faith and participate in church life

Barnabas

July 26th-31st 2026
Camp Barnabas provides people with disabilities and chronic illnesses the opportunity to experience a Christian summer camp that is built to ensure that every camper has the best week of their lives. Evergreen Church has campers ages 7-18 that attend during Bridge Builders week. In addition, we send missionaries (ages 16-29) and cabin parents to serve our campers and others with disabilities by encouraging and supporting the campers’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs for a week. If you would like to be a missionary (ages 16-29) for Camp Barnabas for the 2026 summer, please sign up below! Campers will need to sign up through the Camp Barnabas website!

YAKS

YAKs (Youth of All-Abilities Kickball) is a casually structured kickball league for youth with special needs ages 7-16. Players will be paired with a buddy who is similarly aged to support, encourage, and assist where needed. Our games begin in late April and last for 8 weeks. Contact Jennifer for more details.
