Julie Meyers is married to Scott and is the mom of Micah (12), Maggie (9), and Gabby (5). She grew up at Evergreen Church and, after marrying Scott in 2008, moved to Dallas, TX. There, they became deeply involved in a Bible-teaching church, serving as lay leaders in recovery ministries and on the community team. Over 15 years in Dallas, God grew Julie’s love for His people and His Church.
In 2024, the Lord placed a desire in their hearts to return and serve at Evergreen. That desire grew into confidence, and in June they moved to Bixby, joining Evergreen just one week later. Julie entered the Residency Program with a heart to study and serve—to learn how Evergreen does life together, to build relationships within the church body, and to deepen her love for God by serving His bride.
She asks for prayers that her motives and actions would reflect John 3:30, “He must increase, but I must decrease,” and for her family as they continue adjusting to a new city, church, home, and community.
