About Legacy Adults
The core values of the Legacy Adult Ministry focus on responding to the diverse needs of older adults while fostering a supportive, intentional, Christian environment. This includes creating opportunities that address their unique life issues and challenges, while continuing to minister "through" them, yet with a more deliberate focus on ministering "to" them as well. Evangelism and spiritual growth remain central priorities, ensuring that Legacy adults are actively engaged in both personal faith development and outreach efforts. A strong emphasis is placed on ministry service, encouraging a missional mindset, and being active in serving others. Additionally, the ministry promotes intergenerational connections, encouraging relationships across age groups and ensuring that the 55+ demographic is represented and visible in all aspects of church life and ministry. Evergreen Legacy Adults continue to pursue, "Knowing God, Sharing Life, and Changing the World".

The Gathering @ Evergreen
The Gathering is a vibrant weekly event designed for senior adults to connect, play games, and enjoy meaningful fellowship. This relaxed and welcoming gathering offers a chance to engage with others, make new friends, and have fun in a supportive environment. The Gathering is the perfect opportunity to build community, share laughter, and enjoy your week. We look forward to seeing you there!

Sunday School / Bible Studies
We have several Sunday School options for Senior Adults at both the 9:00AM and 10:40AM hours. Click below for a a list of Sunday school options with times and location.
We also offer a bible study every Sunday evening from 5:30PM - 7:00PM in the Hospitality Suite.

Grief Share
GriefShare is a welcoming support group for people grieving the death of a family member or friend. Each meeting combines guidance from grief experts, along with honest conversations and encouragement from others who understand what you’re going through.
There’s no pressure to have the right words or to “move on.” Instead, you’ll find a safe place to share your story (when/if you’re ready), listen when you need to, ask questions, and discover timely tools that can help you navigate life after loss—one step at a time.

Healing Strong
Healing Strong Groups are volunteer-led and provide valuable information, helpful tools, and resources for those facing cancer or other illnesses. Alzheimer's Caregivers
Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. Our virtual Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group meets regularly over Zoom, offering a safe and supportive space where caregivers can share experiences, seek advice, and connect with others who understand the challenges of caregiving.
