The most tragic chapter in the Bible, Genesis 3, presents the story of man’s fall from
innocence. This story is basic to the rest of the Bible, for it gives the reason for God’s
redemptive plan with which the remainder of Scripture is concerned. The realities of this
chapter encompass the life of all humanity still today.
