"A Display of His Divinity" - Matthew 17:1-13

Every believer longs for mountaintop moments with God, times when His presence feels near and His power feels unmistakable. In Matthew 17, Peter, James, and John are given a glimpse of something greater than they could have imagined: the unveiled glory of Jesus Christ. But this moment on the mountain was about more than a spiritual high; it was designed to strengthen their faith. God doesn't give His people glimpses of glory so they can stay on the mountain, but so they will have what they need to walk faithfully through the valleys while looking ahead to the hope that is still to come.
