What is Mini Manventure?
We believe becoming a Man of God starts very early and at home. Each fall, we provide an opportunity for our dads and granddads to walk alongside their sons and grandsons to experience discipleship. This is more than a campout in the woods; It is intentional training for our young men, their dads, and granddads to grow in Christlikeness and discipleship.
Camping Experience
Come enjoy a fun campout experience complete with tents, campfires, s'mores, a chuckwagon, flying flapjacks, and more! Where we focus on Home Discipleship and Wilderness Development.
Home Discipleship
Deuteronomy 6 records the "Shema." While this historically was a profession of faith for the Hebrew people, it contains an important instruction to teach the things of God to our children and grandchildren. Later in Deuteronomy, Moses reminds the young generation to seek the testimonies of God's power from their fathers. In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul reminds fathers to lead their homes and instruct their children in the ways of the Lord (Ephesians 6).
While there is a biblical command to teach and raise our children, we often feel intimidated to follow through in obedience because we fear we "don't know enough" or that we "don't have it together yet."
At Mini Manventure (MMV), campers and their dads/granddads will get the opportunity to worship, pray, and study God's word together all in the context of God's beautiful creation! This weekend is as much for the men as it is for the boys; we aim to give you the chance to practice discipleship with your son(s) and call them into biblical manhood!

Wilderness Development
With access to 100+ acres in the beautiful Creek Nation of Eastern Oklahoma, MMV aims to make spiritually strong young men while also teaching skills for camping, bushcraft, and survival.
From expert instructors with backgrounds in military special operations and Eagle Scouts, fathers and sons will get to learn incredible wilderness skills like fire-making, shelter building, land navigation, and more. Each skill is used as an object lesson/illustration for a key biblical truth to help the boys grow in their confidence of navigating the wilderness -- both literally and spiritually.

Location & Safety
MMV takes place on privately owned land in the middle of Green Country, OK. The grounds are closed and secure for the campers and their guardians to enjoy a great camping experience while also being as safe as possible.
