About Evergreen Students
Our student ministry is for students in 7th-12th grades. Our goal is to train students to own their faith, seek ways to serve in the church, and bear fruit from their personal relationship with the Lord. We also partner with the College and Young Adult ministries at Evergreen to provide graduating students with a seamless transition into their next season of life. No matter where a student comes from or where they are in life, we believe every student should have a place to belong. We invite you to be a part of Evergreen Students to grow deeper in your relationship with God as you connect with other young people and our amazing adult leaders!
What we do
MDWK
This is a great time for students to build relationships with one another and to bring friends to introduce to their youth group! At MDWK, students meet downstairs in the Rec Center for a time of fellowship and games. Students then head upstairs to the Student Worship Center to worship with our student band and to hear a message from our Student Pastor, Christian "Cheeto" James.

Sunday School
A place for students to grow deeper in discipleship and in their understanding of God's Word. At Sunday School, students will meet upstairs in the Student Worship Center to hear a brief message from one of the Student Ministry Leaders. Then they will break up into small groups based on grades to study and discuss the passage. Each small group is led by two adult leaders.

Community
A place for further discipleship and training for our students. For the 2026-2027 school year, students will hear a brief teaching over how to interpret Scripture during the fall semester. In the spring semester they will cover how to have biblical community. After listening to a short teaching, students will discuss the teaching in small groups led by trusted upper-classmen.
