Meet our Staff

Our classrooms are equipped with a lead teacher and an assistant teacher. All teachers receive ongoing Early Childhood training throughout the year.
Amy Gamble B.S, Director of Preschool-ELC, leads our caring and qualified staff to educate your child. Amy graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. She brings with her over a decade of teaching experience. She has completed University of Oklahoma certificates of training in  
1) Director's Entry Level Training,  2) Early Learning Guidelines for Infants, Toddlers and Twos, and 3) Entry Level Child Care Training.
Elizabeth Cheney, B.S.B.A., acts as our on-staff Assistant Director. With a love of teaching and administration, she offers a diverse skill set that supports our teachers and director throughout the year. Elizabeth brings organization, compassion, and dedication to our preschool community, helping ensure a positive and nurturing environment for both staff and students. She is also a proud mom of two elementary-aged children and enjoys traveling to national parks with her family and reading in her free time. 
As a mom of three, Stephenie has been homeschooling for several years.  She loves the Lord and loves to teach children about Jesus. Her experience in occupational therapy provides children with activities that encourage motor development at different stages.  “I enjoy watching children do something that brings them joy.  Watching them learn and discover something new every day brings me joy as well.”
Shanna brings a joyful energy and a deep love for children to her role as the music teacher at the ELC. Her desire is for little ones to hear the Gospel. "I use songs to communicate God’s love and hide God’s Word in their hearts."
Nancy is a Spanish and music teacher who holds a communication degree from Oral Roberts University. She has worked in Christian education for over 15 years in the US and Mexico. Together with her husband, they serve as children’s pastors in a local church. Her passion is to share the Father’s love and grace while teaching. Her hobbies are photography, cooking, swimming, and traveling with her family.
Dana brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the ELC.  She adores working with babies and is passionate about ensuring the babies in her care are safe and loved.  Dana’s favorite thing about teaching babies is “the excitement they have when they learn new things.  They’re fresh from heaven and I adore their cuddles!”
Abigail has developed a deep love for working with children through the joy of being surrounded by babies and young children in her close-knit and growing family. She loves serving her community through her career as a childcare provider, as well as through her volunteer work in her church’s preschool ministry. Currently pursuing an Associate Degree in Child Development, she is dedicated to expanding her knowledge and skills . Abigail is especially excited to share God's love with children and families while providing a nurturing, caring environment where every child can grow and thrive.
Rebekah has been called to be a teacher since her teen years as she started to babysit kids of all ages, and after graduation, she’s been teaching in various fields. As a mom herself, she strives to create a calm, peaceful, and welcoming environment where little ones can explore, learn, and have fun. Rebekah’s favorite thing about teaching babies is “the excitement they have when they learn something new!”
Working with children is Ary’s passion, joy, and calling. She has five years of experience serving and working in various childcare roles and is excited to be able to bring that experience to the ELC where she can teach God’s Word and love to His children! She is currently enrolled at TCC as a Child Development major and plans to transfer to further her education after graduation. Ary’s favorite things are being in God’s creation and serving in the preteen ministry. She is blessed to be a part of creating a developmentally appropriate, loving, Christ-centered environment to nurture and care for God’s youngest children.
Gina has raised several children: biological, fostered, and adopted.  She has many years of experience teaching children with a very kind, caring, and loving spirit.  “Young kids are like little sponges, eager to learn.  My hope is to share my love for Jesus with them, while allowing them to be confident and caring as their little personalities develop.”
Julie Fuller has been working with young children for many years and holds a degree in Early Childhood Education.  In addition to her professional experience, she also homeschooled her own children, deepening her understanding of how children learn and grow.  Her greatest joy is watching little ones develop not just in knowledge, but in their understanding of who Jesus is. "My heart is to create a space where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to explore, learn, and experience God’s love every day."
Aimee is a mom of four, who enjoys baking, traveling, learning French, and time at the beach. She is excited to work with little ones and to help them grow in their knowledge of God each day, in a safe, nurturing environment. “The curiosity of children is such a fun way to learn and explore new things—I love to hear their perspectives and how they see the world around them.”
MollyRose is a mom to a two-year-old baby girl who has taught her just how magical it is to be little. She enjoys baking, reading, and volunteering at a pregnancy center. She is not only passionate about choosing life, but also cherishing and pouring into that life that was created in His image.
Natasha has a heart for helping children learn about Jesus and the world He made. She has worked in early childhood education for over 10 years and is always striving to grow in her teaching skills. She aims to nurture and provide a Christ-focused, peaceful environment for little ones to be loved on, as well as to have opportunities and inspiration to explore and be creative. "I love seeing children’s free hearts and excitement about learning new things."
Kari is a mom to one daughter and three sons. She has served with 2-year-olds in Sunday School and Awana Puggles for several years. “I believe there is no greater calling than helping develop young children to love the Lord and helping them learn that He loves them, whether in motherhood or your community.”
Debra is excited for another year in the 2-year-old class at the ELC. After obtaining her master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, she has dedicated her life to teaching young children.  She enjoys seeing their smiling faces every day.  Her favorite part about teaching young children: “seeing the growth and the development of the young child fascinates me every time and makes me more in awe of the God who knit together every precious child.”
Sydney lives in Bixby, OK with her husband and three children. She loves volunteering in youth ministry and building up the next generation of leaders. In her free time, she enjoys baking, singing, and reading. She is excited to teach little ones about Jesus while helping them learn, grow, and thrive each day.
Aubrey has a husband, 10-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter.  She loves spending time with her family, going on adventures in the country and national parks. She also loves to bake and anything crafty. "I enjoy teaching and seeing the excitement of learning. I’m excited for each year and to get to know the kids."
Brielle has a heartfelt passion for serving kids and brings a wealth of experience with her. She has served in the Evergreen Preschool for several years, and being the second of seven kids, she's had plenty of practice caring for little ones. Brielle is excited to “help guide them in understanding the love of Jesus” and is also happy to contribute to their growth and development in a loving environment.
Anna is a life-long learner who finds joy in teaching young children through play and engaging activities. Upon earning her degree in early childhood and special education from Oral Roberts University, she taught pre-k in the public school system for five years and is excited to return for her second year of teaching one of the three-year-old classes at the ELC. One of her favorite things about teaching young children is “seeing how children engage in play and use the wonderful imaginations God has given them as they explore the world around them.”
Claire has a deep love and passion for children and teaching them about God. She comes with a solid background in childcare and interning in preschool & children’s ministries, including formerly being a sub at the ELC. “I super excited to be back with the ELC family! I desire to foster a classroom setting where each child feels seen and cared for, where they can thrive in learning and growing.”
For the past 18 years, Kim has had the joy of teaching preschool-aged children. She believes early childhood is a special time for building confidence, kindness, and a love of learning. Outside of work, Kim enjoys making memories with her family and exploring new places through travel.
Michelle is a devoted mom of four with an elementary education certification and a deep passion for learning and teaching. She loves helping children grow academically, socially, and spiritually, and believes that education is a lifelong journey. Grounded in her faith in God, Michelle strives to serve others with wisdom, compassion, and a heart for nurturing the next generation. 
Rachel brings many years’ experience teaching in the public school setting. She holds an elementary teaching degree and a master’s degree as an Elementary Counselor. Rachel has a love and passion for helping children learn and succeed in the classroom. She is beyond excited to get to be an assistant at the ELC in an amazing Christian school. Her greatest joy is being able to pray, sing Christian songs, read Bible stories, and talk about Jesus with the children. She and her husband, Ken, are Evergreen members.
Abbey has been married to Keaton for four years and has a two-year-old daughter and another baby on the way. She loves spending time with her family and doing anything outdoors. She is looking forward to starting at Evergreen and watching the kids learn something new every day!
Jenae is a proud mom to a little boy, and she truly loves working with children. Through many years of coaching young gymnasts, she’s enjoyed helping kids learn, grow, and celebrate their accomplishments. She is passionate about creating a positive, nurturing environment where children can thrive and learn about Jesus’s love for them.
