 MANVENTURE

PRACTICAL TOOLS FOR
SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP

What is Manventure?

Manventure is Evergreen Church's flagship annual men's event. Men of all ages (7th grade+) are invited no matter your background. Come forge new friendships as we learn how to pursue our God-given purpose to lead in our homes and our communities.

"Walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called"

Ephesians 4:1

Manventure 2024

"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful."

Hebrews 10:23

Breakout 1 (Choose 1)

"Building a Worthy Self"
Johnny Crater

Can we ever be worthy? Through scripture, we’ll discover how cultivating spiritual fruit like patience, kindness, and perseverance strengthens our faith and prepares us for the trials ahead. Whether you’re navigating difficulties now or seeking to deepen your relationship with God, this session will offer biblical insights and practical encouragement to help you stand firm and flourish.
“Leading a Worthy Family”
Daniel Eldridge

“We are only what we are in the dark; all the rest is reputation.” Your family sees who you are in the dark behind the face you put on in public. What are they seeing? You have been entrusted with a daughter of the King to steward; you are your kids’ first influencer and the first discipleship relationship they will have. What are you doing to fulfill those responsibilities? What does it mean to walk worthy in how you lead your family? We will talk about why it’s important and practical ways in which you can do it.
“Finding a Worthy Community”
Brian Willms

What makes the Church more than another group of people connected through a common interest or  preference? Come join this discussion that unpacks how the Church is more than a group of people that think the same way. The fellowship of the Church is a relationship that changes everything and brings community in when we need it most. Your participation in the Body of Christ plays a vital role in the Kingdom of Heaven advancing!

Breakout 2 (Choose 1)

"Fighting a Worthy Fight"
Harrison Carter

Following Jesus is the greatest adventure you’ll ever experience. In a culture of never quitting and never surrendering, how does a warrior make sense of surrendering his life to Jesus? What happens when your own strength isn’t enough anymore? Come hear the story of how God faithfully pursued a warrior on the battlefield of his spirit.
"The Work of a Worthy Servant"
Andrew Gabbert

What does God want from you? What is worthy service to our Lord and King? Does God have a long to-do list for your life? Is he asking you to accomplish great things for Him? Does worthy service mean to live and let live? In this session we will examine how God defines worthy service and it may be simpler than you realize.
"Receiving a Worthy Identity"
Cameron Sears

Every man faces an identity crisis. Idols, insecurities, and sin struggles cause us to question who we are. Who we are is redeemed, established, and secured in Christ. Be encouraged by one story of an identity rooted in sin and lies from the enemy, then destroyed and redeemed by the Truth of the Gospel! Live out a worthy identity. Leave behind the old self and receive new life in Christ.

Who's Invited?

The heart of discipleship is found when fathers and sons spend quality time together. So we have expanded Manventure to include our Evergreen men in the 7th grade and up if they attend with their father or guardian. As we train our young men how to follow Christ and lead their future families, we believe it is crucial to build healthy relationships with other men who can inspire and challenge them to spiritually grow.
