Senior Adults

Psalm 71:17-18 "Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come."

What Are We About?

The core values of the older adult ministry focus on responding to the diverse needs of the Senior generation while fostering a supportive, intentional environment. This includes creating opportunities that address their unique life issues and challenges, while continuing to minister “through” them, yet with a more deliberate focus on ministering “to” them as well. Evangelism and spiritual growth remain central priorities, ensuring that older adults are actively engaged in both personal faith development and outreach efforts. A strong emphasis is placed on service, encouraging the senior demographic to embrace a missional mindset and become active in service to others. Additionally, the ministry promotes intergenerational connections, encouraging relationships across age groups and ensuring that the 55+ demographic is represented and visible in all aspects of church life and ministry.
